Course description:

In this course, we will transfer and disseminate through 4 sessions our acquired knowledge of the protection and promotion of biodiversity in the southeast of Spain. Also, possible ways of applying such knowledge in other areas of the Mediterranean basin will be presented. The course will be carried out in the middle of nature and in conversation with the course assistants. In this way, these will be offered the possibility of observing examples of good practices of protection and promotion of biodiversity in real settings. The assistants of this course will meet up with us daily at 9.00 am at the Bullas city hall door and from there will go by foot to different natural sites nearby Bullas center. Each session will last 5 hours (from 9.00 to 15.00). The course will be given in English, and Spanish (Castellan) translation will be facilitated.

Financial support:

Our organization will offer a living expenses € 120 grant for the funding of the living costs for the course duration. To be eligible for these grants, the grant applicant must demonstrate financial and economic limitations. The grant-holder will be paid in cash upon her/his arrival at the event. In addition, this entity can offer her/him free accommodation at some of our volunteers’ home.

Descripción del curso:

En este curso, transferiremos y difundiremos a través de 4 sesiones nuestros conocimientos adquiridos sobre la protección y promoción de la biodiversidad en el sureste de España. Además, se presentarán posibles formas de aplicar dichos conocimientos en otras zonas de la cuenca mediterránea. El curso se llevará a cabo en medio de la naturaleza y en conversación con los asistentes del curso. De esta forma, se les ofrecerá la posibilidad de observar ejemplos de buenas prácticas de protección y promoción de la biodiversidad en escenarios reales. Los asistentes de este curso se reunirán con nosotros a diario a las 9.00 horas en la puerta del ayuntamiento de Bullas y desde allí se dirigirán a pie a diferentes parajes naturales cercanos al centro de Bullas. Cada sesión tendrá una duración de 5 horas (de 9.00 a 15.00 horas). El curso se impartirá en inglés, y se facilitará la traducción al español (castellano).

Financiación:

Esta organización ofrecerá una ayuda de 120 € para gastos de manutención durante la duración del curso. Para ser elegible para esta ayuda, la persona candidata debe demostrar limitaciones financieras y económicas. La ayuda se pagará en efectivo a la llegada del/de la beneficiario/a al evento. Además, esta entidad puede ofrecer alojamiento gratuito a la persona beneficiaria de la ayuda en el hogar de algunos de nuestros voluntarios.
