REASONS FOR DONATING OR HIRING OUR SERVICES

  • Any donation is welcome –there is no minimum amount of a donation acceptable by the Foundation for the Knowledge
  • Donations in most countries entail tax discounts in the annual income statements by physical and legal persons.
  • We send each week an updated document, termed ‘knowledge society bulletin’, to all (physical or legal) persons who have made, at least, two donations to the Foundation for the Knowledge Society and wish to receive that document. This document contains valuable, useful information for them to acquire varied and high quality knowledge in a simple and comfortable way. In this manner, we make it possible learning for those persons for free, and then that they can personally and professionally benefit.
  • The Foundation for The Knowledge Society is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) that does not receive any public funding/grant at present. Therefore, this organization is absolutely independent and autonomous regarding all, the themes on which it focuses for its actions, the selection of the partners with which it collaborates for its projects and initiatives, and the design and development of their projects and initiatives.
  • Only with your support, our ongoing projects and initiatives -such as those described on this website- will be successful. Furthermore, if you make donations then you may choose the project or initiative which you wish to contribute for and be entitled to demand accountability with regards to the concrete destination of your donation.
  • The Foundation for The Knowledge Society has achieved a reputation endorsed by the projects and initiatives carried out so far through its solidary and cooperative approach characterizing its actions. At present, such actions are carried out by our volunteer networks exclusively, so our organization devotes 100% of its incomes to its initiatives and projects.
  • The Foundation for the Knowledge Society has always had a commitment to high quality education for all, having trained specialists, as described on this website, in accordance with labour demands and social challenges world-wide.
  • Numerous institutions and companies have already demonstrated their trust in us, hiring our services as described on this website.
  • Profitability, good practices and reliability guarantees in the services offered by the Foundation for the Knowledge Society, due to the way our organization operates (i.e., through international networks of voluntary specialists) and its nature (i.e., it is an autonomous and independent NGO). All this allows for our services to involve lower costs and higher flexibility in relation to similar services offered by most of (research or private) entities, which usually require large volumes of financing (mainly to hire specialized personnel) or/and have low flexibility (in terms of deadlines or bureaucracy).
  • Due to the taxation governmental regimes, which generally apply tax discounts to companies that make donations for NGOs or hire NGO services as those we offer.

HOW TO SUPPORT OUR ACTIVITIES

Donations 

To donate please make an electronic transfer to the bank account whose details, together with the instructions about the information to be supplied, follow:

  • In the recipient/destinatary field, you must type the string ‘Fundesoco’.
  • In the concept/subject of the transfer field you must type de string: ‘Donation’.

In addition, you can decide on the specific destination of your donation by sending a message to [email protected] with the information of the selected project/initiative and attaching the corresponding bank electronic transfer document.

Please keep the following in mind when making one donation to the Foundation for the Knowledge Society:

  • For each donation, all the electronic transfer costs, if any, must be borne by the bank originating the transfer for the donation.
  • It is strongly recommended that you notify us about your electronic transfer by sending a message to [email protected] and attaching the corresponding bank transfer document.

Hiring our services

Portfolio of services offered by the Foundation for the Knowledge Society:

  • Research and consulting in the areas of information and communication technologies and social sciences.
  • Education and training for specialization in the areas of: information and communication technologies including artificial intelligence, sustainable development (2030 goals), renewable and green energy, environment and social sciences.

Other ways of supporting our projects or initiatives

  • Contributions of work through volunteer personnel who wishes to participate at the Foundation for the Knowledge Society’s activities and who have experience or/and university degrees in disciplines related to engineering (like renewable, green energies or artificial intelligence and robotics), social sciences, including the social-health area, and humanities.
  • Intellectual contributions through ideas that the Foundation for the Knowledge Society might develop in the future.
